Eddie was our foreman and was extremely attentive and pleasant to work with. Same goes for the entire crew who worked so hard, showing up on time Monday through Saturday, and their attention to detail really shows in the finished result. They will never move onto the next step before consulting with me on placement and how I liked it. I was extremely happy that I did not need to micro-manage since I know that I am very particular and attentive to design and details. You can tell they take pride in their work. Every little corner and finish was done so carefully.
Dor (project manager) and Avi (owner) were also AMAZING to work with. From the start, Dor never pressured us into signing any contracts right away, adding things that didn’t make sense, nor did he ever make us feel like we were wasting his time. Prior to getting a quote from Lusso, another company gave a whole spiel about them losing money every time they went out to quote a potential client. Then they said that if they left our house without us signing a contract then we wouldn’t get any discount. Not only did it make us feel really uncomfortable and horrible but their prices were ridiculous compared to Lusso. No matter what time of day it was, Dor & Avi responded right away. They are great communicators and made the whole process smooth and stress-free, always checking in without ever pressuring us into anything. We felt comfortable the entire way through, and that meant so much.
The only regret that I had was not doing this sooner since I’m pregnant in my 3rd trimester. We’re beyond happy that they finished so quick with 2 months to spare before our baby comes so that we can truly enjoy our dual shower. We love how everything turned out and so grateful to the whole team for making our dream bathroom come true. “We had some hedges that had outgrown their original stakes and were leaning after some wind we had a few weeks ago.
I hired Gilberto to source, install, and tie off my hedges to some 3” diameter wooden stakes. About a dozen hedges just outside my fence.
Gilberto was responsive and fair on the price. He came out about 2 days after we agreed on the costs and he finished the job in an afternoon.
I am very happy with the work he did and my hedges are nice and straight again! I really appreciate his help with the job and will use him again for any landscape work I need done around the house.“

“It was the year 2010. It was time. Time to get rid of the lawn and embrace a drought-tolerant front yard with indigenous plants. And it would be cool to have a "blue" theme to go with our new roof. Scott to the rescue! It's been 22 years now and all the plants that Scott orchestrated are now in a comfortable size and bloom. The centerpiece is this marvelous Bismarck Palm that clearly loves living in our front yard! It's a man's yard that a woman can love, too. “We hired Jeff Cleator, President of Cleator Landscape Design to create a beautiful and clean design concept for new landscaping that would be sustainable and cohesive with the Mission Hills environment. Jeff always responded quickly to our questions, sent a detailed rendering of his design, along with photos of all the plants he recommended. Jeff came on site on occasion to check on the irrigation layout and progress, and placement of the lighting. In the past, it would not have occurred to us to hire a landscape designer, but now that the project is finished, we realize how lucky we were to have found and hired Jeff. “When we first started looking for companies to do another landscape design and landscape construction we were recommended to Landscape contractor Jeff Wilson of Wilson Woodscape.

We had used another company for a project in the past and just were not satisfied at the end of the it all.

The first time meeting Jeff you will walk away from that conversation with an overall impression that this guy really knows what he is talking about, and he does.

He will ask you questions and present possibilities that you hadn't thought of. Insuring that most all the issue that could come up have been addressed and a plan is in place to address it.

We had a pile of dirt for a front yard and we knew what we wanted.

We had an idea for mid century modern landscapes like you would see in Palm Springs and had done research on it and presented Jeff with what we were looking for.

Once we hired Jeff, his Landscape designer architect and he came out and talked to us for a couple of hours took many measurements and went off and put together a plan and a design, you can see it on his site.

We had a lot going on from stone masonry, walkway landscaping, driveway installation, outdoor step construction, retaining walls, hardscape, outdoor lighting, irrigation installation, custom concert work.

He is always a step ahead. Whatever question that you come up with he has already thought of it and planed it out. So when you come up him with a couple of new ideas after the project has started he is ready for it. He has to be the best landscaping contractor in San Diego, at least I think so and the final product speaks for itself.

The finished product was beyond our expectation. We have people stop in their cars to ask us who did the work and can they get their number. This was happening at least once a week for about 9 months after the project.

Details: We had our backyard completely redone because it was chopped up in small unusable sections and it was just generally a mess. We had three different estimates to do the job and they all came in roughly the same price. So what was the difference? Helena’s vision and communication. She was able to quickly see what our yard could look like and help us see it too.

But while we were impressed with Helena’s creativity, the good vibes didn’t stop there. As the project went on, if there was something we weren’t 100% happy with, Helena was sure to work with us to make it right. The biggest example of this? The pavers that we had purchased ended up coming from two different batches/lots and so when they were installed there was a bit of a color mismatch that wasn’t really visible until after it was all laid out. After a full install of the pavers, we asked Helena about the slight mismatch and she agreed that it could look better. She went to her supplier, fought for us to get new pavers, and reinstalled the pavers all at no cost to us even though most contractors would have argued that it was close enough or thrown their hands up and said sorry, not my fault. She is someone you want in your corner.

As we went through our project, there were a few unexpected hiccups, but nothing major. Each time something would come up though, Helena would suggest multiple solutions, and if we chose a solution that would add some additional cost due to increased labor and materials from what we originally planned, we always felt that Helena was fair and reasonable with her price adjustment. Best of all, it was easy to talk to her if at any point we weren’t satisfied with something or how things were going.

It’s been about six months since our yard was finished and we are so pleased with how it all turned out. Plan to upload before and after pictures later, but don’t currently have them. The transformation was amazing though and me and my family have loved actually using our yard to its fullest potential!“

“Nature's Elements did a fabulous job on our front yard (color concrete driveway, stone paving, irrigation ,trees, shrubs & groundcover). So much so that we hired them later to do the rear yard also (gravity block wall, raised planter, trees, shrubs, irrigation, raised Trex deck & artificial turf), and that turned out really great also. “One of the most wonderful things that happened to me last year when I came back to SD after 8 years was to find out that at my work campus was a farm and every Monday there is a stand for the employees in Campus Point with vegetables from such farm (The Green Acre restaurant sources from them). I found out that California Farm and Garden (formerly Urban Plantations, that I knew from before I left) was behind the operations. I can only comment on the corporate farm that I have mentioned and all is fantastic. From the super cool young farmer girls and my favorite guy, always teaching us how to compost or what varieties of vegetables they grow with smiles and dedication, to the bounty we get every week. The farm is beautiful and well tended and everyone can have a picnic, see the farmers in action (working in the field) and admire the flowers. We get to take from mini bouquets home too! Hats off for this wonderful design and management and the effort everyone put to make everyone happier and healthier.“

They were very responsive and reasonable with any issues that came up here and there (nothing big) and resolved them to our complete satisfaction.
