My twin sons were referred to Ana a few years ago when they were 2 years old. Right after their evaluation, Ana noticed some red flags and recommended we contact the San Diego Regional Center. There they were diagnosed with Autism and began receiving OT, speech (with Ana) and ABA, and now they are both doing great. Ana was wonderful with them. She was patient, professional, welcoming and supportive. She taught me how to help my sons during that first year of therapy, and provided the guidance we needed as we navigated a new family routine. I still remember the joy of finally being able to communicate with my sons through signs, PECS, and eventually hearing their first words. Thank you Ms. Ana!!! It was through your guidance and care that my sons received support at an early age and are now thriving in school and at home. We will be forever grateful.

Lake Murray Speech and Language was the perfect fit for my son Colton. We brought him in for an evaluation and they agreed that he needed speech services. We were able to get started quickly. Colton began speech with one word when he was just under 17 months. A year later and he has over 150 words! I cannot praise Ana and Martha enough. While Colton saw both, he mainly worked with Martha. Martha was always patient with Colton and engaged with him well. When she realized that Colton was easily distracted, she figured out a method to help him. Not only did she help Colton learn, but she also listened to me – my concerns, my questions and she taught me how to help my son. Colton loved going to speech and many times he did not want to leave! It broke my heart that we removed him from seeing Martha and Ana – we only did because we moved out of state. Had we not moved, he’d still be attending speech with them. There is no doubt in my mind that any child will be successful with Martha and/or Ana. They really are fantastic!
