As a person who goes whale watching often, Hornblower Adventure is the best boat to go on. This particular cruise was odd. The captain chose to go out about 9-12 miles out, instead of finding Grey Whales along the coastline. I'm sure he wanted to see the big whales. His decision didn't pay off. We saw no whales that day. They issued whale checks as part of their guarantee to see a whale. We did see a couple of pods of dolphin, but It was disappointing not to see any whales. I like the new process on how to order food from the galley. They bring the item to the table. The 2 hour Brunch San Diego Cruise was an magical event. From entering the boat, hospitality, service , delicious food & desserts was all top notch. Lastly, the beautiful skyline of San Diego is spectacular and speechless. Photos are the best memories for ever.Please just go!
Easy to purchase tickets & if you’re lined up early you can pick whatever seating you like. Boat is huge so you can move around for better viewing throughout the cruise. Food, spirits & snacks are available for purchase. Overall my family & I had a great time.
