I found Glide after bouncing around a bunch of group fitness gyms in San Diego, and it quickly became the one I actually stuck with. It has a great community and a smart workout structure that’s delivered real results. And the results speak for themselves, I’m in some of the best shape I’ve ever been in.
What really sets Glide apart is how personal it feels. Classes are small, under 10-12 people, so you’re not just another body in the room. Josh, Lisa, and Tom genuinely pay attention; giving form cues, weight suggestions, and modifications when something feels off. Their backgrounds clearly lean into injury prevention and long-term progress.
I've been going to Glide for almost two years now, and it's easily the best gym I've been to. When you're here, you'll notice that most people are quite fit but also managing some sort of past injury. As someone who loves training but has also had two ACL surgeries, I appreciate that Josh can and will work us really (really) hard, but safely. The trainers are super knowledgeable, easy to get along with, and sticklers for form in the best way possible.
