The Fred Astaire Dance Studios - Carmel Mountain Ranch is a world-class dance studio led by two gifted, magnificent dancers and superior teachers. They are inspirational, attentive, and fun, and all the teachers in the studio are outstanding. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, they have you covered for ballroom or social dance. The studio offers a classy, elegant, and welcoming atmosphere, where you can have a great time and feel more comfortable and confident in your dancing abilities.
We took lessons at Fred Astaire Dance Studio to get ready for our wedding, and our instructor Emma was incredible. She taught us a full waltz routine in about nine weeks and made the whole process feel easy and fun. The owners (Ryan and Danelle) were great too and would jump in with guidance whenever we needed it. Honestly, the entire staff made us feel welcome from day one.
One thing we really loved is that when you purchase private lessons, you also get access to all their group classes. It made the experience feel even more valuable, and it gave us a sense of being part of a really warm and supportive community. We’re definitely planning to go back.

100% Recommend coming in to FADS Carmel Mountain for a lesson. The instructors are amazing, the staff is always ready to help you learn or figure out the best path for you. Whether you are getting ready for a wedding, want to compete or just want to be able to socially bust a move, you'll have all the tools to make your goal come true. Dance in and try out a lesson, but don't be surprised when you get hooked!
Incredible dancers that also happen to be amazing people. I started from zero and everyone helped become a great dancer. You won't regret joining the studio!!
