I can’t sing Dr. Kim’s praises high enough - she’s an AMAZING teacher, motivator, and confidant to my daughter, and I have grown in more ways than I thought possible since taking my own lessons. I have had the pleasure of studying with Dr. Jeeyoon Kim for six years.
From the first lesson, my playing improved. She provides constructive feedback and practicing techniques for difficult passages, and more importantly, helps us to discover the meaning behind the notes.
With her encouragement, my confidence as a pianist has improved and I feel inspired to strive for excellence.
In addition, Jeeyoon has regular group classes where we play for each other, encourage each other, learn new ways of looking at our piece, and learn music theory. In our group, we have developed close friendships and we have fun!
