Dr. Wu did the Lumenis Ultrapulse Active FX & Deep FX CO2 laser for acne scars, leaving me with hypertrophic burn scars over my face at age 25.He never gave me a test spot. He didn't determine my skin type (Fitzpatrick 3) or inform me on adverse events related to being darker than Lumenis advises. He didn't give me skin preparation protocol, which Lumenis instructs. He said my blood disease didn't matter with respect to CO2 laser. Had a CO2 laser procedure done with Dr Wu 1.5 years ago. Was told the procedure would improve skin tone and texture. The procedure caused volume loss, awful texture changes, facial hair loss, and blotchy colored skin. I expressed concerns about how my skin was healing. Dr Wu did not acknowledge that the procedure had any negative effects on my skin. I regret having the CO2 procedure with Dr Wu.

Dr. Wu is incredibly skilled at his craft, he has a gentle bedside manner and sweet personality. I feel safe in his hands with all the modern technology available at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology. I realize that “med spas” are very popular these days, because they offer similar services at a lower price. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with anyone but a doctor touching my body or face with high powered lasers. As they say, you get what you pay for! The team at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology are passionate about what they do and what they offer to the community. I especially like Dr. Wu’s nurse, Emily.
