I've never had a better haircut experience - Marlo is a wonderful, bright, engaging woman. She listened intently to my concerns and past issues surrounding the handling (or mishandling) of my hair, and was very respectful and perceptive in my comfort of having it touched. She presented multiple options for a healthy cut and style so I could choose what I felt most comfortable with, always let me know exactly what she was doing and why, maintained a gentle touch, and listened to me ramble the entire appointment and answered all my questions. My son has incredibly curly, frizzy hair. He was in dire need of a hair cut but was very hesitant because of less than flattering hair cuts he has received in the past. He told me that he was just so tired of his "garbage hair." After some research, we found Curl Concepts and decided to schedule an appointment. It ended up being so much more than just a hair cut. Marlo is extremely knowledgeable on how to manage curly hair, but more than that, she is kind and caring. She took her time to make sure the cut was exactly what my son wanted. She recommended an easy maintenance plan to care for his curls and products that would help maintain his curls in the way he was looking for. His hair looks absolutely amazing now... My son walked out with the biggest smile and his self confidence has soared. Marlo is incredible! I had super long wavy hair that desperately needed a cut and some moisture. Her attention to detail and knowledge is so impressive. My hair feels so much healthier now and my waves are defined and not frizzy. I can't recommend her enough!
