My Mother's Day flowers were delivered on the Saturday morning of Mother's Day weekend. My first impression of the flowers were how beautiful they were. Upon closer inspection I saw the water had a greenish color, several of the purple flowers (sorry I don't know their name) were broken, one cream rose had a noticeable rust colored spot on it, and one leaf had a large brown spot on it. I changed the water, made sure greenery was above the water level, and trimmed the stems. There was no preservative packet to add in as the directions mention. The roses lasted 2-4 days, which is didn't surprise me as they were in full bloom when delivered. The alstroemerias, which usually last a good week started dying on day 3 and were all dead by day 6. On day 6 the carnations are dying, the baby's breath is browning, and the greenery is dull. This arrangement didn't seem to last as long as others I've received, making me question how fresh the flowers were. I feel that my sons did not get their money's worth.
