Came here on a friend’s recommendation and saw Mike Ryan for a haircut. He was very patient and insightful and helped me articulate exactly what I was looking for with my hair. Overall a great experience and I already have my next appointment booked. Can’t recommend Mike and this shop enough!

By and far one of the best experiences I have had at a barbershop. I was able to easily book an appointment online and ended up meeting with Mitch, who is a consummate professional. The vibes of the barbershop are perfectly chill, and Mitch's demeanor helped put me at ease as I was getting my first haircut in over two years -- he even helped me prepare my hair for donating to charity, which required a lot of patience and time on his end, but he didn't let it bother him once. Good conversation, great environment, and even better haircut and beard trim. I definitely want to recommend Mitch and Capitol Barbershop to anyone who is looking for a trim in San Diego!

Needed a new barber and went to Capitol couple months ago. Got one of the best cuts I've had from Mitchel. Went back a second time this weekend. Excellent work. Highly recommend.
