5 stars Barber Side is one of the best shops in San Diego. I always go to Mario — super skilled, respectful, and consistent. I haven’t tried the other barbers yet, but every time I’m there I see people walking out happy. The whole team is solid. They work late, they’re polite, they offer water, and they really care. Even if they’re tired or not feeling great, they still show up and get the job done. You can rely on them. Professional, humble, and real. Much respect.
I go to Mario. Honest dude, sharp hands. One of the best barbers I’ve had.

Yousef did a fantastic job and was very personable and made me feel comfortable as he was the first barber I’d been to after my regular barber moved away. He took his time and made sure I liked how my cut was done, even offering to trim my eyebrows. Will definitely be going back! Yo boi Mango!

I had to find a new barber as I just moved into the area. I took a leap of faith and came here hoping to find a good barber. The fact they were open late really made it one of my only options given my work schedule. I walked and Mario attended me as a walk in. Mario listened to my hair requests really well and did a fantastic job with my hair despite it being his first time cutting my hair. I say that because people struggle with my hair wether it’s the first or twentieth time they cut my hair. Needless to say, this place is now my home barber shop. Give it a shot. They are great.
