Melissa did the BEST work on my eyebrows. I can’t brag enough about her work. I have never had my eyebrows so meticulously drawn on, and didn’t even know they could look this perfect. I highly recommend her work. Not only that, she is a solid human being who rushed to get me in before I started doing chemo. It was important for me to get this done in case my eyebrows fell out and she moved her schedule around for me. She even went a little darker than normal, because she knew I can’t come back in for a touch up until well after chemo treatments are done. I can’t thank her enough for the incredible work and boost of confidence during such an interesting time in my life.
I highly recommend brow services at Arched Ink! I was nervous about getting my brows done to begin with... didn't even know the difference between microblading and ombre powder, but after seeing her Instagram account I reached out to Melissa with tons of questions. She was thorough with her responses and sent me information on the process and after care tips which were very helpful. She was so patient with me and I was glad that she didn't try to pressure me into booking an appointment. After a few days, I finally decided to book a time because I was over my barely-there brows. I was so happy during and after my appointment, feeling confident that I booked with the right person! Melissa pays close attention to detail and it is obvious that she takes pride in her work. She saw areas that needed improvement when I already thought it looked great. No wonder she is the artist! Hehe. She is also super friendly and personable. The pain of the procedure is minimal. It hurt a bit in the beginning, but I ended up half asleep lol. I was worried about the healing process after I read about brows peeling... I just imagined peeling big ugly scabs, but it wasn't like that at all. After a few days, the color began to peel. I freaked out and asked Melissa about it and she said it was totally normal which makes sense because the color darkened the day after the procedure and then began to lighten up as the color peeled away. I'm fully healed now and one brow ended up slightly lighter than the other, hardly noticeable, but going to go back for a touch-up as soon as the studio re-opens. I've gotten so many compliments on my brows. Definitely money well spent (and reasonably priced!) I'm pretty low maintenance and I don't wear much make-up. Nowadays, I can walk out of the house bare-faced feeling good. Thanks, Melissa! :)
