We found MAC Design as we were searching for design firms with expertise in Aging in Place. MollyAnne and her team really came through for us and designed a great bathroom for us with many Aging in Place design elements...like our new no-step shower. The designed involved moving some walls and relocating fixtures, to create a larger bathroom that someone using a walker or other mobility assist device has a much easier time doing those Activities of Daily Living. I would have loved to give this group a higher rating. The design process and the final design were first rate experiences. Unfortunately, not everything promised was delivered. It is five months since the project was "finished" and we have paid in full. Yet, there is no cold water in the shower, the grab bar has not been installed, and there is no door on the medicine cabinet. The contractor has returned numerous times to complete the work only to find that Mac Designs has ordered wrong parts. The cabinet door was not ordered as promised and has still not arrived. We would just like the work to be completed and are beyond frustrated.
