I just moved to the area and wanted to find a new salon for a haircut, and I'm glad I gave this place a try. The salon itself is really nice--there's a big window that lets in tons of natural light and fresh air, which makes it feel open and relaxing. It wasn't crowded at all, and the staff seemed comfortable just doing their thing, which gave off a calm, welcoming vibe. They even have a nice ice machine and coffee available, which was a great touch. When I arrived, the receptionist wasn't there (though it didn't seem like they have a designated reception area anyway), but I was warmly greeted by another woman who helped me get checked in. I have been a client of The Current Marin since they opened. This place is absolutely top-notch. Love the ambience, staff, cleanliness, and of course the way my hair looks when I leave each time. I have had my hairstyled by a few of the stylist there and all of them do a great job! I am a forever client.

I called to make an appointment and I was told that new clients should get the The Luxury Signature Service ($395-570 depending on stylist) as this would include complete color and cut consultation & design "and just takes so much longer because it's a first appointment (exact words of person booking appointment). I was instructed to send several photos of my hair from different angles as this would allow the stylist to do pre-review. I got to the salon and the stylist had not reviewed the photos and she said, "oh I didn't see the photos, that's ok, we can do the consult now".
