“George gives the best haircuts. I told him what I wanted and, amazing in my experience, he gave me the exact haircut I requested. He's extremely skilled at cutting hair and he's a wonderful person so just being around him is fun. I have a lot of hair and most haircutters are reluctant to spend the time it takes to cut my hair. (I sound like a gorilla!) But George took the time and gave me the best haircut I've ever had. Now I won't go to anyone else. His 'parlour' is funky and unique and has the best vibe. No pretentions, no hand massagers, no wine. Just good company and a great haircut.“

The haircuts are $25. $30-$35:with a tip. There were so many different people in there. Older men and women. I appreciate the care and diversity of the styles that I witnessed. This is a great addition to the community with hard working talented women.“

“I just moved to the area and wanted to find a new salon for a haircut, and I'm glad I gave this place a try. The salon itself is really nice--there's a big window that lets in tons of natural light and fresh air, which makes it feel open and relaxing. It wasn't crowded at all, and the staff seemed comfortable just doing their thing, which gave off a calm, welcoming vibe. They even have a nice ice machine and coffee available, which was a great touch. When I arrived, the receptionist wasn't there (though it didn't seem like they have a designated reception area anyway), but I was warmly greeted by another woman who helped me get checked in. My haircut appointment was with [stylist's name], and she was awesome. She took the time to really communicate with me about my goals, talked me through my hair texture, and even cut with the natural direction of my hair growth. I loved how thoughtful she was, and the cut turned out exactly how I wanted. I enjoyed the appointment so much that I scheduled a follow-up with her, and I even booked another appointment with one of the male stylists for a wedding I'll be going to in a few months. The only thing that felt a little odd--despite the otherwise great experience--was that in the middle of my haircut, someone assisting with appointments asked me to stop so I could pay and schedule my next service before my haircut was even finished. It caught me off guard and interrupted the flow of the appointment a bit. That aside, I had a really pleasant experience and am looking forward to coming back!“
