Roy is a miracle worker! I brought him a very expensive Pakistani rug after my dog threw up on it, leaving a bright neon-yellow stain that would not budge. I tried gently dabbing it with water, vinegar, and everything else I could think of, with absolutely no luck.

I even contacted several other highly rated rug cleaners in Marin, and they told me the stain would not come out. I was heartbroken. The rug was still pretty new, and I truly thought it was permanently ruined.

Then I found Roy. He worked on it for a few days and somehow removed the stain COMPLETELY. The rug looks brand new. You genuinely cannot see even a shadow of where the stain used to be.

Amazing experience walking into this place. Roy was great to interact with and knows so much about the culture and history behind what he displays and offers.

There is a reason it has been around for so long, a staple in Marin county when it comes to selling as well as servicing/maintaining rugs new and “old”. I will go back again when the time comes not only to see what’s new, but also to chat with someone who is accommodating of people’s needs.

His rugs from the 1900s look beautiful, and they are kept in such great shape considering how long they have been around (older than me). Give this place a try, and you will not be disappointed :)
