Alma del Tango is a wonderful place to learn Argentine Tango. John is an amazing teacher and taking private lessons has helped me to learn more quickly and have more fun! Over the months I have been taking lessons, he has been so supportive, and he always makes my lessons both meaningful and inspiring. I spend our lessons learning and laughing and always have a smile for the rest of the day.

I've been dancing tango here for years. ADT is busy, welcoming place with lots of opportunities to learn and practice whatever my tango needs. I'm currently learning the follower's part of the dance--which, incidentally, guys, is a great way to learn to be a better leader!

I started taking classes with Debbie and John at Alma del Tango 8 years ago. Anytime anyone asks me where to go to learn Argentine Tango I tell them, Alma del Tango is simply the best place to get your foundation and continue to grow in the dance. Not only are Debbie and John infinitely patient, they make it fun. You're not just learning steps, they emphasize the technique that helps you become a beautiful tango dancer. Equally important is the community at this school. In addition to the classes there are frequent events (practicas, milongas) and guest artists who teach and perform. And their tango boutique has some great bargains! :-)
