My wife is an instructor and loved by her students and parents. She spends countless hours preparing for daily lessons or competitions. Her students have carefully decorated outfits that she spends hours on perfectly placing each rhine-stone.
Her presence at competitions is also loved by the studio owners or employers – except they don’t pay her for it nor do they reimburse for mileage. Whether her presence is required or not, her sense of obligation to “her girls” requires her to be there. Once she performs tasks that benefit the studio – or are work related – it should be paid time or she should be asked not to perform them.
I just enrolled both my daughters ( 4yrs & 16yrs old) and they are both beginners! The staff is so nice and very welcoming. So far my 4 year old loves the class. My 16yr old will start later this week in the teen class. We observed Mrs. Heather in the adult class and even though my daughter really wanted to stay and join her class she wants to be involved with recitals and the adult class doesn't participate in recitals so she will have to join the teen class. Hopefully she likes it because she is very quiet and shy . I was recommended by family and friends and so far so good!

My 3 year old loves to dance (2 classes so far). She loves dressing up for class and seeing her "friends". Jeanne is wonderful and quick to respond to my questions and concerns before we signed up via email.
