I have been a patient of Dr Rae Whitten since before she was at Sutter Terrace. And she has been there a real long time now. I myself moved to Hawai'i 15 years ago, but my husband and I get back to Sac often enough we scheduleroutine checkups and cleanings with her office. I think she has competently performed every possible dental procedure between the both of us. I'm talking fillings, crowns, bridges (I am old school and declined implant in my upper row due to sinus situation), but hubby real happy with his implant, and root canal.. Oh yeah, alsopainless extraction. We are in our 70's so we have been through almost everything dental. She has a true calling as a dentist. She will answer every question you might have and she completely explains your dental options of any particular dental situation. She listens carefully. She is the first dentist I ever had who paid a lot of attention to whether my new tooth colored crown matched the shade of my uncrowned teeth (Also recognition of the collabrative relationship and contribution of her assistant Elena (hope I spelled your name right, E)) We share a connection because she was raised in Hawai'i, and besides living there for 15 years, I spent 2 years of my youth there. If you know anything about the Aloha Spirit, you will see Dr Whitten practices dentistry with aloha. There is a reason she was Valedictorian of her class way back when. Finally, after one of those X-rays that shows not only your teeth but also part of your neck and your carotid arteries, she told the hubby (who she knew had heart issues) that the X-ray was possibly concerning about about a circulatory issue and she sent it to his cardiologist,since he had an upcoming routine appointment. It turned out not to be a problem, but the cardiologist said, "You have a great dentist. This was a great catch in terms of checking it out medically." I rarely post yelp reviews about anything. But Dr Whitten is the first one I want to recognize as a great dentist. Hey, nobody wants to go to the dentist, But if ya gotta go, there is no better dentist than Dr Whitten in my opinion. Also the office staff is really good, informative and answers every question. I have never had an insurance coverage question or billing issue in over maybe 30ish years.

Dr. Sethi and the team at Sutter Terrace Dental Group are excellent. I have been a patient of theirs for almost 20 years and I hope to be a patient of theirs for another 20+ years. I highly recommend Sutter Terrace Dental Group.

I went to get some edge bonding with Dr. Sethi since I had some chips/unevenness. He delivered very natural results, and I didn't even need any numbing since he was so light while working on my teeth. I'm beyond happy with my results. Overall great experience!
