In conclusion, after over $1,600 additional charges added to the $3,500 I initially paid, I could easily believe that everyone I spoke with were AI generated and I just paid the rent for their 3 empty office spaces. Evidently, the non-profit charity organization I wanted to set up could've been done for less than $500 by a reputable attorney or I could've done it for free on LegalZoom.com. Unfortunately, I was overwhelmed at the time but I should've shopped around.

While my initial engagement with this law firm started positively, unfortunately, I encountered some challenges that left me dissatisfied with their services. My interaction with Mr. Steve Simas initially showed promise, as he verbally aligned with my vision and needs during our first meeting. I was well-prepared, conducting extensive research and consulting with multiple attorneys beforehand. However, as our collaboration progressed, I noticed a shift in Mr. Simas' stance. It seemed that he may not have been as familiar with my specialized requirements as he initially led me to believe. Despite our detailed initial discussion, there was a deviation from the well-informed plan we had agreed upon. Furthermore, the discrepancy between the agreed-upon plan and the contract presented for my signature was a cause for concern. I was charged for revisions that failed to incorporate the structure I explicitly required. This discrepancy and the apparent change in Mr. Simas' understanding of my needs left me hesitant to proceed with Sima and Associates. Ultimately, I opted to work with another attorney who demonstrated a deeper understanding of healthcare laws and assembly bills, aligning more closely with my project's specific requirements. This decision proved beneficial, as my legal project was successfully executed, and I now feel secure and protected in my new venture. While I am pleased with the outcome of my legal endeavors, I must express my disappointment with Sima and Associates for their deviation from our agreed-upon plan and the subsequent overcharge for services. It is my belief that clients should not bear the financial burden of a law firm's lack of knowledge or experience in a particular area. I hope my experience encourages Sima and Associates to reassess their approach and ensure better alignment with clients' expectations in the future.

I had a bad experience. I am hesitant to expand in any way though as we are talking about a law firm. You really can't say anything without risk. I would certainly share my experience privately though.
