I was excited to learn that I had been accepted as a Folsom TEDx speaker!! Yay! And so this is a big deal and I really wanted to professional make-up. But I don't live in Folsom and my only Folsom friend didn't know a make-up artist so I turned to Yelp and had the great good pleasure to connect with Serena Garcia and Serendipity Productions. Other speakers were on-board so 4 of contracted with Serena for hair and make-up. She arrived at 8am amidst a LOT of dressing room chaos. Had a wonderful hair session with Serena. She is so awesome for listening to all my babbling and being such a sweetheart! I love my hair and will definitely come back to get it lighter!
I met Serena a few months ago and I don't let anyone cut my curls, but I put my trust in her and I'm so glad I did! Not only did we get rid of my dead ends, but we added a pop of color and now I'm in love with my healthy hair! It's hard to see in photos, but in the sunlight my hair is a red violet.
