The location is in a ghetto area. You'll see crazy characters lurking around especially near the 99 cent store. Cheap cuts but worth the wait. Always call for an appointment if you're in a rush. Maddie the dog is now old but cute as ever. Ask for Tammy. She's the owner and will give you the best hair cut or hand job aka pedi, you dirty mind! I let the other hairstylist there touched my hair once. I came out looking like a Bergmite Pokemon after losing a battle! I don't mind them speaking in Vietnamese. I just tell myself that they are saying, " Look at that handsome man. $11 and love you long time!" I mean, my hair!
What a joke! He does one foot, sells me on a $10 green tea foot bath, then proceeds to give a long ass haircut to someone else while I soak. Sure, I have some time, but the utter disrespect of it all is mindboggling. I saw one woman smooth walk out during her soak, yet to be seen again. :( And their dog will bark at you as you enter. ETA but once he got back to me, worth the wait. Foot scrub tickled. Awesome and long overdue pedicure complete with calf massage. ETA and the little barking dog, she's actually friendly!
Ok so it's not in the best neighborhood, and yes there's a little dog that barked at us when we walked in, BUT, they were the only nail shop in the area that was open late on a Sunday, and my elderly mother was begging me to find someone to give her a manicure, so we tried it out. I'm glad we gave them a chance. They were so kind & patient & gentle with my mom, and her manicure turned out just fine.
