Maddie is so fantastic. I have a very asymmetrical cut with strong curls and it was easily accommodated at Maverique. The venue itself is very chill and relaxed with water, coffee and tea available while waiting. Being my first time there, I gave Maddie the rundown of my last stylist and what was done, my hair's quirks, my unfortunate picky preferences lol, offered pictures, and we discussed her thoughts. She's so technically oriented and explained everything (which I really appreciated as an engineer!). She honestly didn't even need any guidance, she easily accommodated me and cut my hair fantastically and really timely. The prices are so reasonable, overall highly recommend!

This is a true story unfortunately. I have Aspergers and am very distressed by bad surprises and unexpected change. I spent 5 years growing my hair out. I researched and thought this was the place. But I'm also medically trained and noticed right away she was using drugs. Her pupils enlarged so much the iris could not be seen and it was fixed, indicating something like molly or x. I should've left but being autistic I did t know what to do. I told her to cut off one inch from the back and no more than half an inch in front. Maggie at Maverique Style House is a hair magician and an absolute joy to sit and chat with for an hour. I've been going to Maggie for a couple years now to get my hair cut and each and every time I leave feeling like a new woman!
