Being in a new city, I'm looking for someone who will take care of my curls and I read the reviews and really, reviews can be determined off of someone's bad day, for me, I'd prefer to try and weigh out the outcome. I've had some pretty bad curly cuts. I called Joyce and she scheduled me in for the next day. Joyce is a phenomenal woman, she has a lot of history and stories, amazing ones, definitely someone worth getting to know, very kind as well and professional. She knew exactly what I wanted for my curls and I let her do her thing and when I did, I was satisfied with the layers, the fullness, and weightless feeling of the curls. She did a fantastic job and I will continue to visit her for my curl cuts. I found someone I can trust with my hair. She is a one person army so she only takes on what she can handle and that's ok. A friend of mine recommended Joyce to me after having a very good experience. It was my first time getting a cut in this area and I am so glad I got to meet her to fix my hair. I've had my hair cut from stylists all over east to west coast and levels of expertise from a award winning master stylists to your average big city over priced ones with hit or miss skills and I have to say that Joyce did it the best. It's been long since I've had a cut I was happy with. This talented woman has been in business for 30+ years and she knows what she's doing. It was the quickest cut of my life and just too bad I just met her now but I'll be returning to see her for as long as she's in the business!
