About JCPenney
JCPenney is a large retailer offering a wide range of apparel, home furnishings, and beauty products. They carry national brands like Adidas and Levi's, as well as their own private brands. Shoppers can find clothing for men, women, and children, along with footwear, jewelry, and accessories. JCPenney also offers a beauty concept with products from brands like Covergirl, e.l.f., and Thirteen Lune. While some customers appreciate the variety of brands and styles available, others find the store layout confusing and difficult to navigate. Finding the right size can also be a challenge, and some shoppers find the in-store experience less enjoyable than shopping online due to limited staff and sometimes subpar fitting rooms. However, customers consistently praise the helpfulness and expertise of individual employees like stylists.
Great sales. Always plenty to choose from. Great customer service. If one cashier is busy the dot.com cashier will pull people back to that register.
Make sure to ask them to apply all coupons, some will and some won't until you ask.
Clean bathrooms just in case.
I love walking through the mall and checking out all the shops.
I have a love hate relationship with JC Penny. It feels a bit tucked away in the mall and definitely hasn't changed much over the years. I have found some brands and styles that I've loved, especially for blouses and so I'll pop in to see if they have anything a few times a year. At this point I find it easier to shop online than in the store, because it can be difficult to find the correct sizes and with sales going on all the time it's nice to know how much each item is going for at the moment. The upside to going into the store is getting to try on the clothes before purchasing, but on my last visit the dressing room was difficult to find and a sad experience for a dressing room. It seems like an afterthought with discarded clothes piled up and terrible lighting. It's fine, just not a fun shopping experience like other stores.
My mom wanted a suit so we came here. The clothes are nice. The only issue is there is only one fitting room and depending on where you're shopping it can be on the opposite side of the store (it was for us). There are no employees around like a ghost town. Malls are dying.
