About Friendship Tailor & Alteration
Friendship Tailor & Alteration is known for its quality work and reasonable prices. Customers appreciate the quick turnaround, with items often ready in as little as 48 hours. The tailor is efficient, handling simple repairs and alterations with ease, such as a riding coat repair for just $20 in over an hour. However, some customers note that the shop may not provide fitting services, particularly for women's garments that require specific measurements. It is a cash-only, no-frills space that many recommend for straightforward alterations. The tailor specializes in men's wear and sport coats, and customers praise the excellent turnaround time and reasonable prices. One customer has been going to the tailor since 1997, and notes that the small, basic shop has not changed in all those years. The tailor speaks minimal English, but customers have been able to communicate their needs effectively. Customers appreciate the tailor's professionalism and the opportunity to support a small local business.
Great tailor. Items usually ready the next day and always look great. Prices are very reasonable. He specializes in men's wear/sport coats. Dont call- just go in. Bring cash. Pic of a dress he recently hemmed and the king himself:
Very good prices, bring cash. No need to call, just come in and he can help you out. Very good turnaround time - I had a suit jacket and pants tailored and hemmed in less than a week.
I have been going to this tailor since 1997. He has been in business since 1988 at this location. He speaks minimal English, but I've always been able to communicate enough with him for him to understand what I want on specific items. His prices are always very reasonable and his quality is great. The small room he works in has not changed in all the years I have been going there. There are no electronics (computers or televisions or anything else) in there. It is the most basic of shops and is like stepping back into the past when I go in there. He is very nice and I like supporting his small business.
