Please know that there is a shortage of Primary Care Doctors here with a very long wait time for appts, especially for new patients. There are Residents, but they are always on rotation and dependent on the attending. It's open enroll for many right now and every morning I hear the radio add on choosing Sutter Health so you can have a caring and personal relationship with your doctor. It makes me sad to hear this being advertised as my experience, along with many others that I know, has been short of frustrating and having to go to Urgent Care due to lack of availability with my doctor. I developed a problem over the weekend that wasn't bad enough for urgent care or the ER but definitely couldn't wait forever. The team practice model came to the rescue. My PCP was completely booked however his colleague Dr. Tony Lai had a spot Monday afternoon. The check in process was easy. The front end staff were kind and efficient. My appointment happened exactly as scheduled without having to wait. All of my concerns were heard and addressed. I'm so grateful for the experience.

Dr. Anna Sophia Irvin was great. Very efficient and thorough. I am glad she is my doctor.Also I liked that there was a quiet separate lab here. Really convenient and they really kind in accommodating sensory needs. Great Office staff too.
