47th Avenue Self-Service Car Wash offers good suds and functional equipment, with enough time to rinse and soap. However, trash bins are often full, making it hard to clean vehicles, and the timers run very fast. The location is nearby but in a neighborhood that can feel a bit rough during the day. Some issues include a broken coin machine and concerns about lost money.
Honestly my car was clean when I finished, however there was garbage in the car wash bay. I didn't use the vacuum, the rinse didn't work but there was another one I think it was wax that I used it cost about $5 and I brought my own towel. The change machine did work even though it looked sketchy. I probably won't go back there again, I just happened to be in the area and needed to wash my car quick and cheap.
Great self serve car wash in the middle of the hood. Pretty clean lot. No homeless presence at noon. Stalls clean. Change machine operational. $3 for 4min. Very good foam brush flow. High pressure wax that I prefer to rinse with. Spot free rinse operational.
Good $6 value.
