I asked Devon to take my dog Fae because she was severely overweight and never listened to me. Part of this is because my dog knows how to be sneaky and get food out of the trash. The other part was my lack of consistency with her previous training, she didn't behave because I was lost and never followed through. Devon boarded and trained my dog for about a month or so. When I got her back she had lost some weight and was super polite! The best thing about this was that Devon trained me in how to be consistent with Fae. The commands were simple and easy to follow through with. I think having a good handle on what I should be doing gave me the confidence to really change things. We are several months out from her training now and my life has totally changed. Before her training I was ready to be done with Fae. I was frustrated with her constantly. Now she listens like a champ, and it is just so easy to handle her. She is now at a healthy weight and is ready to get out on the trails with the hubby! I would highly recommend Devon. She took my difficult dog and helped me turn her into a healthy family dog.
