I have had both insurance and investment products with Doug through the years. Policies were structured in a manner to maximize commissions and hurt principal growth. I recently cancelled a whole life policy and asked for assistance in rolling an IRA from them.As you could imagine essentially no help was provided, they emailed me forms and said good luck.The life policy was funded at $25k annually for about 16 years and the entire account value grew by a minimal amount due to various premium riders and insurance buy ups that were positioned into the policy.My experience with Farmers whole life has been substantially better. I have done business with Doug Clifford and his amazing team since 1985. The insurance industry can often get a bad rap...I have never been pressured, upsold or coerced into any product. Doug has my best interests at heart and always has.
