I received a referral to JMK Electric through Next Door which I find to be consistently reliable. JMK did not disappoint. I had a problem with a flashing LED light and I requested a service call since the light was fairly new. I thought the wiring was the problem. Instead of dispatching a tech, JMK trouble shooted my issue over the phone and I was able to fix it without having an electrician come out to the house. JMK not only didn't charge me, they followed up with me to see if the problem was resolved. There are not many businesses' today that provide such exceptional service. This is by far the best company I have had a pleasure to work with. I always look for a local and a family own business. James from JMK is a very knowledgable electrician and was able to explain the scope of work just based on pictures. He is also most reasonably priced. He and his father did the job clean, well and fast with a great sense of humor. I highly recommend!

I had a great experience with James. He is professional, punctual, very responsive, and very fast. I had an issue with main circuit breaker and was fully or partially without power for a couple of weeks. James responded right away when I contacted him, and replaced the breaker within 1 week as it required coordination between PG&E, City inspector and break supplier - otherwise would have done it much quicker. Stayed connected and gave me plenty of advice on how to not get into the issue again in the future, what to do in the interim, etc. Very happy with the service and have his number on the "speed dial".
