I didn’t want to write this review, but I can’t stay quiet any longer. This experience went from bad to worse. What started as a simple filling ended in a nightmare.
For context, I’ve been going here for two years, and the first year was fine. But my recent experience has left me completely shaken.
Here’s the background: I went in for a cleaning on Oct 21. It was routine, but the usual tech I like wasn’t there. An older woman cleaned my teeth, and while it was a bit rough, she got the job done. Afterward, the dentist examined my teeth—not physically, but through a camera scan that generated an image. I’m not sure why, but I assume it’s because...read full review
This office is not reputable. went to see Dentit for surgery clearance. my teeth were actually pretty good. The Dentist Dr Guerra told me my "my mouth has infections, and that he needed to cut my gum, take out 3 teeth and put in implants and charge me $10,000. " they supposedly cleaned my teeth, which didn't happen. I left this office, found another dentist. He was amazing. Checked my teeth, cleaned my teeth and said I had no infectio. cleared me for my surgery. My concern is that if I had never been to a dentist and would have gone to Dr Guerra's office and he told me that, I would have known no different. that would have been a sad, scary situation. His receptionist was very helpfu, his assistant was nice but went along with his practice. He's dishonest. I will never go there and I've told all my friends not to go there either. This is not a professional office.
The worst dentist I've ever been to. They don't listen to the patients needs. Came in with terrible toothache. They said it was infection and have to get root canal. I agreed. Came in next appointment to get my root canal done but they decided I needed to get my other fillings done first. I was very mad, I've been with this pain for so long and they didn't care. I made them do the root canal first. While they were doing the root canal I was laying on the chair for 2-3 hours with my moth open, while the doctor kept going around to other patients. You can imagine the jaw pain afterwards. (This happened about a year ago) Recently I came back in because a tooth where I got a different root canal done, the filling fell out. I know I need a crown done on it but I didn't have the time to do crown that day because I had to get to work. So I asked them to do temporary filling. A lady doctor, I don't know her name, told me no I have to get crown done. I said I know, but I can't today. I had to get to work. She kept telling me that a hundred times as if I didn't know. She finally did the filling. She did such a terrible one, it's like she just smacked it on. That another dentist I went to asked, did you put that filling in yourself, as a joke. Once she did the filling, I asked her if she could check my other two teeth because I felt I have a cavity there. She said NO, until I don't get my crown done, she won't check anything. She also said they'll do a crown for a very good price. I got a cleaning appointment. The cleaning appointment was before the crown. I get my cleaning done. The male doctor checks and says yes I have cavity there. But the cavities would be done after the crown. I book the crown appointment and they tell the crown price and it's $300 more than what the lady said I can do it for when she kept insisting I do the crown that day. I was surprised I told the front desk lady that the lady doctor told me last time I can do it for this price. She said she'll go ask the main doctor. She comes back and says the doctor says that can't be they never do crown for that price. Then Helena, another worker asks and the doctor drops down the price. Ok I I agreed and and got my appointment. After this cleaning appointment about a week later I start to get terrible pain there where I knew I had the cavities. You can imagine how angry I was. I definitely didn't go back to this dentist. I went to an actual good dentist where they did X-rays and let me know that it was an infection but yes I had to get the fillings done and my wisdom tooth was pushing and sitting right on another tooth, that's why I felt so much pain. They were able to do three cavities in that area that same day. I was so thankful. First of all the pain went away and they did the fillings beautifully. I canceled my crown appointment because I was definitely not going back there. After so many disappointments in that dentist, was I really going to trust them to do my crown? No. This is why I definitely don't recommend this place. First of all, the main doctor only works with one hand. The other lady doctor is rude. All the other workers are good though especially Helena she's the best one there. So take care of yourselves.
