I have always been a health minded person and have explored alternative methods as well as allopathic medicine. However, when my health began to spiral downward five years ago as a result of graves disease and related complications, I realized I needed extra help from the inside out. Doctors could do no more for me. I knew about functional medicine but was not able to find one until I ran into Pamela Conner with her Clinic in Roseville about 6 weeks ago. I am so thankful and thrilled to be seeing my health improving in such a short time. I have lost 12 lbs, my hair stopped falling out, my energy and focus are dramatically better, and I am sleeping better. I still have a ways to go but I am so heartened. I feel younger, too! Pamela is understanding, non-judgmental, kind and extremely knowledgeable. She is ethical and uses lab tests for everything. She is also a coach and truly visits with you each time you see her. If you attempt to follow current heath trends, you will notice immediately that experts in the fields of exercise, nutrition, medicine, supplements, diet, sleep, aging, and mental acuity regularly contradict one another (and themselves). I came to Pamela with a large shopping bag full of supplements recommended by researchers such as Dr.Oz to Tim Ferris, Steven Gundry, Tom OBryan, Dave Asprey, David Perlmutter, Paul Chek, Dale Bredesen and many more. I had no idea if any of the supplements were helping. I didnt know if and where I needed help. I was wondering if fat was good or bad. Were Bulletproof coffee, meat, lectins, mushroom extracts, stress, carbs, salmon, eggs, running, baby aspirin, statins good or bad? How much sleep did I really need? The only thing that I really knew was that I felt pretty good and wanted to stay that way as I got older. Pamela answered many of those questions. She identified areas where my body is showing signs of damage due to poor habits. She designed a plan to reverse that damage. She holds me accountable to the plan. My health has improved immensely since Pamela started working with me. I have lost 20.5 inches and 21 lbs so far. My blood work continues to show improvement and I feel great.
