My urologist and I discussed several options, finally agreeing to brachytherapy, which ultimately led me to the Rohnert Park Cancer Center. What a phenomenal clinic, with wonderful doctors and caring staff. I had to undergo a month of radiation therapy. I consulted with oncologist Dr. Rao. He mapped out the strategy, and followed up me once a week. He is a kind, thoughtful and informative doctor. We talked about all the pros and cons of radiation therapy. He was great, and I believed I had the best information to make informed decisions about my health. All of the staff at the clinic were phenomenal. Considering the clients they were working with, I never felt putty, but compassion for my issue. And I was far from the worst case they dealt with. I feel blessed to have such a wonderful cancer resource in my neighborhood.
