The Mattie Floor Ninja's absolutely crushed our project in Petaluma! They implemented a complicated patch and stain solution which required matching hardwood flooring and blending stain color to finish uniformly. Team is easy to work with and would hire them again in a second.
This is the second time I’ve had Mattie’s Hardwood Flooring replace and refinish the hardwood floors in my home. The first was in 2022, when they did my entire 1850 sq. ft. house—4 bedrooms, dining, and living rooms. The floors still look brand new, are easy to maintain, and perfectly highlight the original oak wood grain. After a flood, the wood in the living room and primary bedroom closet was significantly damaged. John Mattie's guys are miracle workers! We had a fridge leak that ruined a section of hardwood floor in the middle of our home, requiring a complicated "patch" job. Originally the repairs were done by a general contractor (supplied by the company liable for the damage); their job left the floor creaking and with major gaps between boards. They claimed it was "unavoidable" and that this was the best work we could expect for a patch job. John Mattie's guys, however, proved them wrong. Our floors are now seamless, we feel like we have our home back again! The job was definitely complex, but unlike the original contractors, John Mattie's guys did not cut corners to get the job done quickly. Instead, they worked late on the second day to finish the job so that our home would be intact for a BBQ we were hosting the next day. Highly recommend these guys (also, it cost roughly the same amount for the GREAT job they did as it did for the very poor original repair work).
