In late January 2021, I fell and broke my olecranon bone in my elbow – my dominate arm. At age 68, outside of two broken toes at age 15, I never experienced a major break like this. Once the stitches were removed from my elbow and the temporary cast taken off, I realized I did not have much movement in this arm. My very excellent surgeon gave me a month to see if I could make some progress with exercises he had taught me. Given that I didn’t make much progress, he then recommended that I see a physical therapist. Rocklin Physical Therapy was among the list that he given me. After just two weeks into my six week program at Rocklin Physical Therapy, I am now able to feed myself, floss my teeth, and apply underarm deodorant, tasks that I had to rely on my left hand to do, tasks that I had heretofore taken for granted. There is still more to accomplish; but I am more confident now after what I had experienced at Rocklin Physical Therapy thanks to John and his very helpful staff.
