Horrible office, difficult to get an appointment and when you do they run you through like a cattle call. Dr Bains pushes meds on you so she can get her kick backs. Will never take a statin for cholesterol and she was pushing it on me, said we will check my labs at next visit and re evaluate. Do your research on Big Pharma meds that have horrible side effects before you decide to take them. Robert the PA is a horrible human being, rude and should not be in healthcare. Asked about natural remedies and told my husband to go elsewhere and said he knows nothing about such remedies. Refused to refill my husband's medication for one month since we moved out of area and was told to go to Urgent Care. This place is horrible wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

I’ve seen Eva, the PA on my last two visits. She has an amazing, gentle way about her that made me feel heard and cared about both times. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to feel understood in their sick moments. She is a treasure! Thank you Eva! Christine J.

Rocklin Family Practice & Sports Medicine is the best doctors office my family has been too. They have proven over & over again that they go above & beyond. In a recent interaction with Eva she took her time to make sure my son was okay when some of the intake tests were coming out a bit funky. She made sure to redo the tests to verify the results & got the PA/ Dr involved. She went above & beyond with my kidd. She explained why she was concerned, & stayed with us while the tests were repeated. She made sure she was there the whole appointment & made me & my kiddo feel very comfortable with what was going on. She made us comfortable & showed she absolutely cared about what was going on. She is one of the many reasons we will never leave this practice.

Great doctors but they have THE WORST front office staff. They will cancel your appointments and not notify you then will make up something about how ALL our numbers on file didn’t work even thought we receive all the text messages and reply to confirm all our appointments. Again, great doctors but horrible front office admin staff.

I got a text and email reminder reminding me of my follow up appointment with Michelle Geerts. No cancellation or late policies mentioned anywhere. Drove 25min from home after taking my kids to school. Was 10min late and Michelle and office refused to see me. If you have a late policy that strict, I would expect that to be explicitly outlined in reminder emails and texts. As well as compassion and accommodations for patients being a few minutes late. Very unimpressed and will not be returning.

Primary care doctor was good, but for a 30 minute first visit, they charged insurance about $850. Insurnace paid about $250, so I was left paying about $600. $850 per 30 minutes is $1700 per hour. That is an absurdly high price. This is what we get with large hospital systems, lack of transparency in prices, and corporatization of healthcare. This lowers my opinion of UC Davis.

Wendy the FNP seemed great face to face. HOWEVER chart notes are inaccurate or exaggerated to make minor things seem like focused items. She caused billing issues, and rather than actually handling an appointment cost me extra money by requiring a 2nd evaluation by a specialist that was unnecessary.
When I spoke to the office staff their only solution was to have the same appointment with the dr and pay all over again for what I already paid for. It saddens me but now I'm forced to find a new practice.

I called with a friend today to get an appt. She is very sick and this office has been blowing her off. Got to the scheduler who was exceptionally rude when I asked for clarification on getting an appt. When my friend said yes to getting an appt even though it’s 1-4 months out, the scheduler hung up on us. This lady has no business being in health care which requires compassion and care. I’ll be filing a formal complaint to the medical board for the overall dismissive behavior of this office as my friends health has continued to decline.

I have had two annual visits with dr Bains and feel her analysis and proactive care is thoughtful and comprehensive. I assume I will not see her unless annual visits. Recently, I had two very uncomfortable events with the physical hygiene of a staff member, (she had on very neglected and dirty clothing) and another’s very aggressive force in addressing my ear condition. In the follow up report it addressed the other ear( I had corrected that during the exam but it still came out in the report) . In addition, I was told I would have a referral to a specialist and it didn’t happen. I’d like to stay with this doctor but I’m afraid I won’t have a connection with her as she appears to have an less than professional staff
