LA Fitness offers many amenities at an outstanding value. Members appreciate the flexibility of going to different locations, as well as the cleanliness of the facilities and friendly staff. The gym features state-of-the-art equipment, group fitness classes, a pool, and saunas, among other amenities. While some equipment may require repairs, the staff is helpful and keeps the facility clean. Group fitness classes, such as Zumba, are popular and fun, with knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructors. Overall, LA Fitness provides a clean and convenient environment for its members to stay active.
I’ve been a member at the Magnolia location for quite a while, and this has been my home gym. I genuinely like the gym and the convenience of its location, but I think it’s overdue for some major upgrades.
The equipment is noticeably outdated compared to other LA Fitness locations I’ve visited throughout Riverside, the Inland Empire, and even Northern California. Many of the machines feel old, some of the weight handles are worn out or broken, and overall it just doesn’t match the quality you see at other locations.

Can y’all rerack your weights? The dumbbells are never where they need to be and are scattered all over the gym, so be prepared to be looking around. I don’t know if or when staff rerack, but I don’t think they do here.
That aside, this location and the equipment is pretty well maintained. There are newer gyms nearby with nicer equipment and amenities, but if you’re a swimmer, this is the only gym in this part of Riverside with a pool. The pool and hot tub could use a good scrub though.
Peak times are pretty miserable, but that’s true for any other gym. I think they should crank up the air though, because it is tropical in there when the gym is packed.
I travel ally and I've been to many LA fitness' this is by far the cleanest! Very large gym, many machines, I came in from 5-7 (which is usually peak hour) and I didn't have to wait to use a machine! 10/10
