This is the second time I've been in and everyone is always so nice. The office lady's were very patient w me while I was deciding on my frames (it took me forever to make a decision). I must of tried on 20 pairs of frames for them. They were very helpful. Dr Fishbourn is such a sweet man he is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend

I have been using the services of Dr. Fishberg for 37 years. That loyalty was earned and well deserved. During that time I lived in three different cities but my feelings were that the quality of service was worth traveling the time and distance. We are now contemplating another move but we will continue to avail ourselves of Dr,Fishberg services

It’s a shame the staff is so horrible because the Doctor is amazing. I was a new patient in October of last year, I needed glasses so I bought Kate Spade sunglasses as well. They were sent to the lab for the prescription and I picked them up not bothering to look at the original non prescription lenses. NEVER once did I use the prescription sunglasses so I decided today to switch the lenses out. Brought them in and there’s horrible scratches on the non prescription lenses. I’m like what are you going to do about it. 🤷♀️ is what I get from the office manger. I’m like well if you think this is something I did to $350 sunglasses you’re delusional. So the male assistant comes out has me write my info down, takes my glasses and snatches the pen from the counter and walks away. I have NEVER been treated to rudely in a PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL facility in all my life. Word to the doctor FIRE your staff and start fresh. Unbelievable

Dr. Fishberg and the head guy are super nice. However the ladies at the front are rude. This is second time I’ve left the office because they talk down to you and don’t listen. They hang up on you and only listen to what they want to. Forget trying to talk to anyone as they cover for each others attitudes and blame the caller. So sad to leave a good doctor over the two females in front who don’t seem happy to be there…

Went to this place solely because it was close to my home and they could see me within the week. I already knew already had frames, just needed to get my lenses updated. This place has a weird smell and old decor from maybe the 70s. Major hoarder vibes. Some of the workers are nice and some are less nice. I paid an extra $50 for the anti-scratch layer. When I picked them up they had many scratches on the lens and Th prescription was completely wrong. What an inconvenience. I had to return them and have my prescription re-checked. Not sure how it happened but someone made a mistake with my prescription (the doctor or the lab creating Th lenses). After I picked up the new set the prescription was better but it still had some scratches on th lens, like little dots. And they give you the glasses wrapped in plastic with a rubber band, they don't eve put them in a cheap glasses case. I was sick of not being able to see so I took them anyways. Its been about 6 months and the prescription still feels off. I wouldn't bother going to this location, even for the convenience it's not worth it. The doctor was nice though

Poor customer service. . When you pick up glasses they just hand you the glasses. NO trying on for possible adjustments. Upsells. Do not stand behind their product. 2.7 Yelp rating is generous

Once a patient of Dr Fishberg for over 20yrs and have since relocated out of state. I contacted the office to see if I can get a copy of an old contact prescription emailed, so I can have an idea of what prescription I had( I have keratoconus and my new optometrist and I are going through trials and tribulations on getting me the correct prescription. Anyhow, Max answers the phone. Basically, I tell him what was stated above. It started off ok ( he's real "nice"phony at first) he places me on hold to get my file and says that Dr Fishberg would have to look over it and write it out and he'll be in tomorrow. I asked him the date of the prescription. Which he tells me. Then i ask him if I can provide him my email address , so he'll have it already when he gets the prescription. Maniac Max yells at me saying , HE WILL HAVE DR FISHBERG LOOK AT IT! I asked him why is he yelling at me and he yells BECAUSE IM BUSY AND I HAVE PEOPLE IN THE LOBBY! I'm thinking ...Umm Wtf that got to do with me!!! Umm sir you picked up the phone when I called. The polite way would've been to ask me if you could call me back with the info. Anyhow, I ending up hanging up on him. This is the 2nd time time I have encountered this horrible customer service from Maniac Max and I have seen his lack of patience and customer service with others while I have been in the office. ( I mean look at the other reviews). If it wasn't for my long history with Dr. Fishberg and my keratoconus I would've been found another office , if I was still in California. Ended calling back a few minutes later, asking to speak with the office manager and Michelle answers and stated she is. I told her what transpired above. She was unapologetic and a waste a time . She know darn well she heard Maniac Max yelling throughout that small office. She said she would have the prescription emailed to me which she never did. ( which is fine because my Dr was able to get the me fitted with the correct lenses!!!) Good luck to current and future customers because Max is one difficult unprofessional person and management doesn't care.

Recently came here for contacts and they seemed nice - at first. However, when it came to testing the contacts I was struggling a bit to keep my eyes open. He gripped my head extremely hard and I became tense. He began to get frustrated with trying to get the lens in and eventually paused for a second. He proceeded to walk out to announce to his staff and the waiting room how irritated he was with me. He also told me that I have also been wearing the wrong prescription glasses and wanted me to buy new ones there. I haven't had a single problem with my glasses, as I got them within the past year, so I'm not sure he was reading everything right...I would suggest finding somewhere else to go.
