Woodside Nail Spa

I like this place however, I had a weird experience tipping. I gave the lady $20 to break and she gave me two tens, I then gave her a $5 to break and she got confused with the cash exchanged and accused me of taking the money back when I gave her $25. Anyways I ended up tipping $5 over because she wasn’t understanding that I gave her a $20 (got two tens back) and then gave her a $5.

She literally took my cash off my wallet, trying to say I took it back while they were counting their money when I DID NOT. I showed her I only had one other $20 bill.

Seem offended if you don’t want a “gel “ pedicure . Made it awkward and uncomfortable. The price shown for a basic pedicure was $30 but I was charged $35 maybe because I got French tip not too sure ? Price is fine it’s the principal for me . Otherwise my nails look great . Job was 5 stars . Communication and hospitality is 0 stars . I usually tip over 20% regardless of how basic the job is but this was not the case .

Manicure was okay, I asked for something and it did not look like the picture, but it still looked nice so I pretended everything was fine. She was very rough when filing my nails and I had to ask her to be gentler 4 times. I didn’t enjoy the fact that it felt like every 5 minutes I was fighting to not get overcharged. They insisted I get a pedicure 3 times, gave me a new set instead of a fill because they said a fill would not be possible (it was possible, they just wanted more money).
