I suffered from unexplained Skin Disease for a number of years. I have visited many doctors and dermatologists, but to no avail. That is until I met Dr. Katharine Nelson at South Bay Allergy & Asthma Group. My first visit at Dr. Nelson’s office was a life changing experience. For almost a full hour, she listened, examined and asked questions about my skin problems, past treatments, overall health and family health history. After that, Dr. Nelson set up a systematic plan to determine the cause of my skin symptom. She and her office nurses worked relentlessly with my insurance company to qualify me for Skin Patch Tests. Thanks to that effort which I believe is above and beyond their duties. Dr. Nelson discovered that I was actually allergic to many ointments and medications I have been using all these years. She also sent me to a dermatologist for additional skin tests. Dr. Nelson and Nurse Christine also secured the approval for the treatment with a new medication. Thanks to the dedication of Dr. Nelson and her staff, I am getting better day by day. Dr. Nelson is patient oriented and extremely caring.
