I went here even though I read bad reviews about nails. I needed my eyebrows done so I gave it a chance. The place is clean and they work on you laying down in a separate room with paper over the bed so that was neat.
The lady was gentle but she did most of the work with tweezers, when she was "finish" and pass me the mirror she didn't shape neither clean up my eyebrows it was very noticeable so after I asked her 2 times where she needed to do more I just gave up and said I'll do it at home...
I have been going to Lux Nail Spa for 10+ years now. I have had some amazing nail artists there and some amazing massages!! Obviously, the final look of my nails matters but taking me time there is so important too. I have two little ones and don't get much relaxation time but Denise and Ana take the best care of me. Ana is amazing with artificial nails, she shapes impeccably and makes my nails look beautiful. If you want the best most relaxing pedicure make sure to see Denise. She does an amazing job with the nails and cuticles and always tends to my needs. She gives an AMAZING foot and leg massage which I always extend at least 5 more minutes. Plus, she knows this pressure point on the bottom of the foot that helps with the ticklish jumping foot which I definitely have. If you want a regular manicure or gel manicure make sure to see Susan, she does a beautiful job on your nails but gives the best neck and upper back massage too. I highly recommend Lux to anyone who wants to relax and be pampered, plus you can get a green tea or champagne during your service too at no additional charge.
Came in for a Pedi with my husband. He liked his service and said the gal who worked on him did a fantastic job. She was gentle and gave a good massage. I had Denise and it was TERRIBLE. She dug into my big and left them throbbing. She gave a half assed massage and was annoyed I didn't want to upgrade the Pedi. For the price these nail techs should be well trained and give good service. She was horrible at cutting the cuticles as well. I felt like she was ripping my toes. I have been coming here for years and have never had a problem. Stay away from DENISE!!
