Hillside Memorial Park is a peaceful and well-maintained cemetery in Redlands, CA. The grounds offer a quiet walking area with historical markers dating back to 1840. Visitors appreciate the beautiful scenery, including trees with wind chimes. While some might find the gravesites a bit cramped, others find the close proximity comforting. The cemetery is located in a residential area and does not currently have restroom facilities.
Had no problems with staff. The area is peaceful and grounds are kept well. My only gripe with this place is how cramped each grave and gravestones are too close to each other, feels really cramped.
For some.... Maybe not ideal, but for those looking for a quiet, beautiful area in Redlands,CA this is a great walking area.It's full of history, a sadness that is enduring and so much love.I am not spiritual - I am a Follower of God. Death and life are intertwined and being among others is calming.It is unusual to be in a residential area, but when you see how old some of the markers are, homes were not there then..1840.I didn't see any restroom area -be aware.Thank you to the men and women who served in the war, to keep us safe. We needed you.
My best friend is buried here. She’s under a beautiful tree with many wind chimes. It brings me comfort to know, where as other cemeteries may take them down it look like these have been left up for years. Thank you Hillside!
