After seeing the reviews I was a little hesitant of shopping here because I know so little about hardwood but after going there a few times now I have had a great experience with the employees and there is a hood selection of lumber, I will be back

My husband needed a supply. I didn't know Auburn was even there, and had a nice visit with the guys behind the counter. Found out Auburn's been around for 35 years. They were pretty helpful over the phone, too. Thanks!

Joe T.'s from Anderson's review in 2016 was right, but he didn't understand why. Joe went there, thinking that Auburn is a retail location. Wrong! It's a satellite location for their main store. Even that disrespectful counter guy--I had the same experience, he hardly gave me the time of day--would tell you that they work mostly with cabinet makers, not with the general public. They don't keep stock on hand for the public. I had to bravely ask whether I could step behind the showroom into the warehouse where the wood was kept. I could tell he just wanted to get rid of me.
