My husband and I have two small kids that are 4 and 2 years old. When we bought our house, the yard had a mixture of random plants and trees that never made sense with a mix of cement, pavers, and edging stones. Just so much random stuff! We were looking to tear out the entire backyard and start fresh. We wanted something Clean, kid friendly, and party ready! We love to entertain our friends and their kids here, so we wanted some play space, but also a place the adults could hang out!

We found form and focus landscape through Jake's wife on Instagram of ALL PLACES. I started following her @formandfocusdesignstudio and decided to reach out to her! I knew I wouldn't be able to put this yard project together myself, so I wanted to seek out an expert! Katie was AWESOME and she mentioned her husband did landscaping, so I was open to meeting him too! She was never pushy when recommending her husband, but I'm so glad she did. I'm so thankful for Katie, because she listened to all the things I DIDN'T want and then gave me a BEAUTIFUL end result design. From there she supplied me with the prints and then the work started!

From start to finish Jake and Katie were very professional, communicated well, answered any questions that we had (and yea..I had a lot!). When I met them I just got this warm and fuzzy feeling in my stomach that they were good people. I have met Jake's workers and partners in Form and Focus Landscape and they are all stand up workers and professionals! This is a FAMILY business and employees are HAPPY. It says a LOT about a business when their crew has been with them for years! Each step of the way we never encountered anyone who was rude. Everyone was polite, kind, and clean. At the end of each day, the workers made sure the area was cleaned up and neat. (I love that).

I feel like I could rave and rave about how happy we are with our yard. Our friends love it and so do we. Our kids GO CRAZY! Running everywhere and rolling in the grass! Most importantly, we have a nice space to enjoy when the kids are in bed! I love waking up each morning and looking out my kitchen window to my yard! Thank you Jake and all the crew involved in making our yard so amazing. Keep up the good work!

Thank you to the guys at Form and Focus Landscape. They were able to completely transform my backyard into a beautiful sanctuary. I love my new water feature and can't believe how relaxed I feel now that everything is in its place. It finally feels like a home.
