UPDATE: After posting the negative review below, I was contacted by Aliso Air. They suggested coming out to scrub the coils. This did not completely take care of the problem since you could still smell a musty odor. In hopes of making our family happy, they agreed to replace the coils. They did so and problem solved! No more musty smell. I appreciate Aliso going the extra mile to solve the problem. Original Post: Aliso Air is by far the worst. They installed a Carrier AC/Heating unit in our home four years ago, yet failed to install an indoor coil of the same brand...going with a cheaper brand in order to cut cost. I’m being told by ASi and and 1-800-Anytime (two other reputable AC/Heating companies) that the musty smell coming from the AC is a problem with the indoor coil. Now, Carrier obviously won’t warranty the product because Aliso failed to use their indoor coils. The coils they used are by ADP and ADP is saying it won’t warranty their product because they claim Aliso improperly installed the coils. Long story short, I’m going to the BBB to file a complaint. Save yourselves time and a headache and go with a reputable company. Aliso is not it.
This company has the best, most honest service, with honest prices. The technicians are very knowledgeable and friendly. They make sure to give the customers what they want instead of what they “need”. There’s a reason why this company has been running for over 30 years.
