Literally the worst doctors office ever dr William ta is the worst all he does is give out meds he can never remember who you are as if he never looks over your chart when you come in he always seems like he's Falling to sleep when you are talking to him and he don't even remember the med he proscribed he's a very lazy doctor and the office is very out of date There blood pressure monitor almost never works and the wait is crazy every time I wish I could give zero stars don't come here
This appointment started off badly. I was the only patient there but had to wait 45 minutes - while he made videos! No other patients came in during the entire time I was there. Then, I met Dr. Ta. Dr. Ta was terrible, and should be limited to autopsies - my opinion. Having just moved to the Sacramento area, I needed a 30-day refill for a pain med that I've taken for years - a refill to tie me over until my real health insurance policy kicked in. I was counseled to go see any MD to get at least a 5 day supply, possibly several times if necessary, or (hopefully) 1-30 day refill. Going off "cold turkey" could be very dangerous. Here's the partial list of potential withdrawal problems; brain zaps, erratic heart beat, increased blood pressure, potential coma, potential fatality, SSRI discontinuation syndrome, suicidal thought due to depression, seizures, severe mood swings. Piece of cake! Dr. Ta's solution: He sent me for drug screening for illegal drugs at Quest. It took 6 days to get an appointment. The results came back 9 days after that - negative. He also prescribed an X-ray - to see a nerve problem which doesn't show up on X-Rays. (Google it, Dr. Ta or insurance company or LiveWell.) My only sure solution was to drive 2200 miles back to my nearest somewhat recent doctor to refill my prescription. This MD saw me on a Saturday night to give me the prescription, so I could trudged 1100 miles back to Sacramento on Sunday. I told Dr. Ta that was my alternative if he wasn't going to help. He didn't help and didn't seem to care.... The ONLY shining light was a trilingual woman who works there. She's awesome and deserves a much better working environment. How would I rate this place? It's the worst medical care I've ever received. One time I was hundreds of miles from "civilization", and got treatment from an amazing shaman. Another time, a jungle veterinarian doctored me since the nearest human doctor was days away. They were both SOOOO much better, and more professional. The service I received from Dr. Ta doesn't seem to abide by the Hippocratic Oath, "do no harm"............ My opinion - AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! Go to Urgent Care..or to your local veterinarian!
I've been a patient for many years. I LOVE that I am NOT a number, but a valued individual! I am remembered and cared for.Everyone is professional and kind. I've only had to wait an excessive amount of time ONCE maybe twice. The wait in the "smaller" private waiting room (the exam room) has never been too long.Staff is very good at reminding me of referrals and upcoming appointments. I ALWAYS get confirmation and reminder calls before my appointmentsNow that they've gone "virtual" it's SOOO convenient and extremely simple. I feel much more comfortable being in my own safe home for my "visits". They truly care about the patients!!! The have always been safety and health...read full review
