We did not end up going with Rick. Not because we didn't want to, but because it came down to our budget. (We had a tight budget as most of our money went into the house). We have a completely unfinished large backyard and decided we didn't want to put our entire budget into the pool given we needed a lot in landscape and fencing etc. and would put us over. You definitely get what you pay for with Rick and it is nothing short of luxury high end with an innovative pool design. He does not play around with any option but the best in quality products as a standard for all of his pools. Not as honest and as transparent as I would like for a contractor. Ensure you get things in writing clear and up front.I was thrilled with the design and the concept drawings as well as the helpfulness with Jade to align the various moving parts. I was upfront with my expectations and spent a couple of months vetting several contractors for the work.Rick and team did a great sales job; however, when we went to contract and I was asking about the items that were "included"....they were no longer included and the total price was increased by $11k.We ultimately selected a different contractor that was slightly more expensive, but very clear and up front on what... read full review
