I have had consistently good experiences at Mountain Building Supply in Quincy. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely helpful, whether you are picking up a single item or working through a larger project. Their pricing is also very fair and compares well with the big-box stores in larger towns, which makes it easy to shop locally without feeling like you are paying a premium for convenience.

This place is fantastic. They walk a fine line of being noozy about what you're doing, and letting you wander the store on your own, trying to find stuff, but there is always someone available to tell you, exactly where this stuff is, and whether they have it or not, and everyone that works there. That walks the floor. And out in the yard, they all know their stuff. I've asked number of questions, and they always seem to have the right answer, or at least they'll go to the bus. And get the right thing, get the exact answer. I was looking for great place way to go quincy

This place is amazing. Of the few options in Quincy this has become my absolute GO-TO. The owner is always welcoming and friendly. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, always giving options that would save money. I cant give enough praise to this business, you have to go check it out. They have everything youre looking for. Any renovation, home repair, DIY, or that one thing youre looking for that you cant find anywhere else... this is the place.
