Staff are nice, but the vet is oldschool. I didnt like his approach with putting my cat under for a blood test, could have use gabapentin or another med instead...

As it always seems to happen on vacation, one of our dogs was obviously feeling poorly, and we were very happy that American Valley animal Hospital fit us into their schedule right away. They were quite busy but treated us well. They were recommended highly by a local, and we were pleased with the results. If needed, we won’t hesitate to make another appointment at this facility.

They over sedated a 3 year old dog i adopted 2.5 years ago. She needed to be spade. I made an appointment took her in she was scared. The vet tech sedated her while I was in the room. Then took her out of the room and said I could leave. At 10AM i get a phone call she died from the vet. He was nice and completely apologize but forgot they already sedated her. It's been 2.5 years. I was warned not to go there but it was at the time the only option in Plumas Co. I don't normally leave a comment. Also, had an older dog I took in for a cyst removal. Said it wasn't cancer. However took an instrument out of a drawer under the table and dissected it then put the instrument back in the drawer. I was in shock.

Dr. Klement and his staff have always given our labs excellent care. We were very pleased with them. 😊

Talked with the vet about getting my cat a sedative for my move when I had to take my cat in the last time and now they want me to come in for another visit to pay their 72 office charge even tho it was less than a month ago that I paid 430 for something else when I talked to him about it the first time. Money hungry jerks don't actually care about the animals, just the money! Only reason they get away with it is cuz it's the only vet in town.
